Joel’s training as a Certified Business Exit Consultant (CBEC), gives him perspective in helping organizations prepare for and execute ownership transition, while retaining, rewarding and/or retiring the key employees that were crucial in helping them get to their ownership finish line. Joel has been published in several business periodicals, including the National Underwriter and has been a featured speaker in both national and regional venues. In addition to his position at Promus, Joel is Senior Vice President, Executive Benefits at Peerless Business Network, a firm whose mission is to help established business owners protect their family, business, and ownership interests through integrated solutions that reduce risk, build wealth and improve tax efficiency. Joel attended Lehigh University, where he graduated cum laude with degrees in Finance and Marketing. He has been deeply involved in numerous professional, civic and youth ministry organizations in varied leadership and board positions.
